FFPP (FOLDED AND FORMED PLASTIC PIPE) GRAVITY LINER SOLUTIONS

At ASOE we offer a gravity liner solution which is fully structural, smooth and close fit, perfect for sewer and stormwater pipelines. Our liner is made from a type of modified PVC compound designed and synthesized by ASOE and can structurally rehabilitate brick, concrete, grp, reinforced plastic or corrugated metal. This is a perfect solution for pipeline rehabilitation projects, which involve host pipes that cannot be repaired by the traditional remove-and-replace method.

ASOE’s Gravity Liner Solution is used to rehabilitate the following:

Our Gravity liners are classified into 2 categories:
  • C-SHAPE FOLD & FORM
  • H-SHAPE FOLD & FORM

Average size of wall thickness

Our Gravity Liners sizes range from DN 100mm to DN 900mm The wall thickness for the smaller diameters starts at 3.5mm and increases to 10.5mm for the larger sizes

The Installation process is as follows:

Use an existing manhole to install, no need for extra construction pits

  • Pre – installation CCTV inspection
  • Heat FFPP to soften it
  • Insert the FFPP Liner into the host pipe
  • Use steam to heat and expand the liner
  • Cool the FFPP until it turns hard
  • Post – installation CCTV inspection
  • Reinstatement of Service Connections

The whole process should take app 4-5 hours
